Dr Chong graduated from Sydney University a decade ago and worked in a busy small animal practice in Singapore before embarking on project Pets Avenue. He has done a year-long course in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine and has a strong interest in Business Management. He can be found at our different branches ensuring staff welfare and running training programs.
Dr Dawn graduated from Murdoch University in Perth and has been working with the Pets Avenue team for 6 years. She has an interest in holistic and TCM therapies and hopes to incorporate both modern and traditional medications in the near future. She was only allowed to keep hamsters growing up but that did not stop her from pursuing veterinary studies due to her love for animals. Her interests outside work are travelling and looking for new makan places.
Dr. Gen graduated from Sydney University & practiced in Sydney for 7 years at busy suburban clinics & completed a rotating internship at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital, learning the latest cutting-edge practices available for animals. In 2014, she passed her ANZCVS examinations in Small Animal Surgery which helps her now to offer more advanced surgical skills. As a veterinarian, she is passionate about getting to know pet owners and offer the best options for their each pet and family.
Dr. Elaine graduated from Murdoch University in 2005. After practising at a busy multi-vet hospital in Sydney for 12 years, she joined the PAVC family in 2018. She aims to provide compassionate care and knowledge to all pets (and their humans) who come in to see her. She feels truly blessed to be able to make a difference in so many lives on this little island.
Dr Jansen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and has been in small animal practice since. Developing a keen interest in ultrasonography and minimally invasive procedures, he has strived to provide this service to the veterinary field and has, therefore, continually improved his skills and knowledge to further his expertise. During his free time, Dr Jansen enjoys going for a run, getting a good workout, and also spending time with his family.
Dr Ginnie spent some of her student years at Murdoch University interning at PAVC and joined soon after graduation as a full-fledged veterinarian. In her spare time, she is found keeping her dogs busy (or the other way around)!
Dr Sara graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2017 and worked at a small animal clinic in The Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, before returning home to Singapore recently. She has a keen interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and has a soft spot for pocket pets. Outside of work she loves to bake and cuddle her cheeky cat, Cookie, who she adopted whilst living in Australia.
Dr Zen is a 2018 graduate who enjoys sharing knowledge with clients, helping them to better understand their pet’s conditions. Out of work, she likes exploring and old film photography.
Dr Carol Liew graduated from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. Her previous qualifications BSc (psychology) and a BFA (Graphic Design and Advertising) from the University of Wisconsin. Her hobbies outside of work include hunting out new food joints, BBQs, water sports and outdoor activities.
Dr Jon graduated from Massey University and enjoys the variety that being a vet brings. No one day is the same! He loves the challenge of different cases and investing into client education. In his time off he enjoys staying fit and healthy and having a good karaoke session.
Dr Talitha graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2017 before returning to Singapore where she did her secondary school education. She has a strong interest in feline medicine and hopes to have a kitty of her own in the future. She enjoys gaming and film photography in her free time and is currently 'owned' by a hamster and three gerbils.
Dr Jocelyn is a Queensland University graduate. She is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery and is greatly enjoying the journey of being a veterinarian. She enjoys playing the piano and exploring pet-friendly places to go to. In her spare time she likes hanging out with her huge family of 6 other siblings + her fur baby Hubert.
Dr Timothy graduated from Murdoch University and has since returned to Singapore to practice. He has a keen interest in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) medicine and has obtained a graduate certification in ECC from the University of Melbourne. He enjoys building strong relationships and working closely with pet owners to provide the best care for their beloved pets.
Dr Joyce spent her student years at Murdoch University. Small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery are two of her interests, and she intends to continue pursuing studies in these fields. She loves all animals but has a special affection for shi tzus. She also has four adopted cats. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her kittens, family, and friends, watching dramas, playing the piano, and crocheting.
Dr Charlotte graduated from the University Of Nottingham, UK and worked a few years in an emergency hospital before joining PAVC. She has a keen interest in internal medicine. She is currently pursuing a post-grad certificate in Small Animal Medicine. Outside of work, you can find her in a HIIT and spin studio, spending time with her naughty doggo.
Dr Cassie graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia and has since returned home to Singapore to practice. She has developed keen interest in internal medicine and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Celine graduated from the University of Queensland and returned to Singapore after completing a rotating internship in Brisbane. She has an interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. After work, she goes home to her Indian Ringneck parrot and two lovebirds, who are always up to no good.

Our Veterinarians
Our head vet technician, Mike, graduated with his DVM at the University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna in 1999 and passed the Philippine Veterinarian Licensure Exam in the same year. He has been in the veterinary industry ever since, working in large animal practices in the Philippine and small animal practices in Singapore. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 kids.
Rob first came to work in Singapore in 2001. Rob studied Fishery Technology and Radiologic Technology. He later pursued a degree in Veterinary Medicine in the Philippines. Rob’s interest is emergency and critical care and surgery. He takes pride in his work and takes animal health and care seriously. He aims to provide the best clinical support to the veterinary team at Pets Avenue. He loves spending time with his wife and 2 children in his free time.
Abby was working in a medical clinic for several years, before deciding to work at Pets Avenue Vet, out of the love for the fur kids. She enjoys working in a close-knitted team as well as ensuring top-notch services are constantly provided to our customers.
Sharon is a graduate from Curtin University with a BA in Mass Communications. She previously worked in production in the local media industry but decided to pursue a new career path in a veterinary clinic since 2016. She then joined the PAVC team in March 2019 to explore a new work environment to further her interest in clinic operations. Sharon is currently owned by two cats. She loves interacting with the pets who come through our doors and sharing her own personal experiences with owners.
Gayathri graduated with a degree in Animal Science and Animal Health from Murdoch University in 2020. With a keen interest in animals and veterinary nursing, Gaya joined PAVC to help animals in need while working on her nursing skills. In a few years, Gaya hopes to become a certified veterinary nurse and wants to continue working alongside sick animals to bring them back to their pink of health. Having grown up with a Jack Russell, Gaya, has a special love for JRTs!
Carl graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Philippines and originally worked as a poultry veterinarian there. He decided to make the move to Singapore and after working in retail for a short stint, made the move to work as a junior veterinary technician at Pets Avenue Vet. On his off days, he loves playing basketball, listening to music and hanging out with dogs.
Thelma is a registered medical technologist and licensed respiratory therapist from the Philippines. She has worked in Singapore for more than 15 years in the animal industry. Her area of expertise is as a laboratory technician and she is adept at helping with cases by analysing blood tests and samples taken under the microscope. She has many cross stitching masterpieces to showcase and also enjoys reading in her free time.
Rodel is a licensed veterinarian in the Philippines, graduated with honors from CLSU, and has been working in Singapore as a veterinary technician since 2001. He briefly worked in the United States before returning to Singapore. Rodel has extensive experience in various veterinary settings, including emergency clinics, referral, and specialist clinics, with a focus on Emergency and Critical Care and Internal Medicine departments. He has a passion for collecting vintage furniture and watches.
Jehoshaphat (Jopat) graduated from Central Luzon State University in the Philippines with a degree of Veterinary Medicine. He worked as a licensed vet in different fields before coming to Singapore. As a Veterinary Technician, he is upgrading himself in different aspects of small animal medicine while learning from his experience in a few veterinary clinics where he worked. He loves bulldogs, Boston terriers, and black fat cats.
Katie recently graduated from Temasek Poly with a diploma in veterinary technology. While at work, she enjoys cuddling up to animals & having fun with her colleagues. She has keen interest in animal nutrition, neurology, and criminology and hopes to pursue her interests in the near future.
Janelle graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys being on her feet at work and keeping busy caring for the animals that come into the clinic. She worked in two other veterinary clinics in Singapore before making the move to join the team at Pets Avenue Vet. When not at work, Janelle can be found at the gym, watching korean dramas or letting her birds have free roam of the house.
Sharon is a Diploma in Business and Human Resource Management. She has a huge soft spot for cats, Brachycephalics, Bull Terriers, Dobermanns, and Great Danes. She enjoys travelling, Netflix, reading, wellness therapy, and cuddling with her blind cat, Chock.
Kai Li works in our front office and is currently pursuing her Veterinary Clinical Science courses at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She enjoys working with animals and aims to provide top notch service to our customer. In her free time, she love to bring her pet dog, Jago out for an adventure.
Jamie has a special love for cats. Her love for feline companions led her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She is known as always eager to learn and provide the best care possible for all furry patients. In her free time, she likes to laze around with her two cats, read books and watch Korean dramas.
Vincy graduated from the University of Hongkong, majoring in microbiology with a minor in biotechnology.Recognizing her keen interest in animals, she then further pursued a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2020.As an owner of 2 dogs herself,Vincy has a passion for advocating for animal health and educating clients about their pet's needs and concerns.
Yen Thi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Her love and passion for animal welfare have led her to pursue a professional course in Veterinary Clinical Science. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and traveling to expand her horizons.
